What a bundle of joy. Three months old now and such a good baby for her first visit to Michigan. Logged many miles from Hawaii to Washington DC to Arkansas to Michigan and back to Hawaii with a stop in Seattle to see her uncle.

Every year from Lorelai’s age until the Christmas after Andrew and I got married, I baked cookies and made fudge with one of my most favorite women on the planet, my grandma. I loved how much she allowed me to help by measuring and adding the ingredients. As her body weakened, mine strengthened, us now switching places with me stirring the fudge. It was seamless. Well, since then, every batch of fudge I’ve made was a flop. Fortunately, when she moved out of her apt, I inherited the famous “fudge pan.” With an unexpected move came an electric coil range, just like my grandma’s. This year, I am so proud to say the fudge curse is over and this batch was so incredibly yummy!! Here’s to the tastiest of family traditions being passed on.

Trump and Biden - Take Your Documents, Tapes, Indictments and BS and GO HOME! - 6/27/24 Debate - Pathetic

Mr. Biden and Mr. Trump - If you truly love the country just take your documents, tapes, indictments, kids and BS and go HOME!

• Most adult Americans don't want to see neither Joe Biden nor Donald Trump on the ballot in 2024.

I don't care about the Polls who says who will beat who. Who even answers these questions anymore? The only Poll that should matter is the one that says the majority of Americans don't want Trump or Biden in 2024.

If you both stay in, I predict Donald Trump will be reelected. I believe Nikki Haley or Ron Desantis can beat Biden easily. If something happens to Biden and Kamala Harris runs for the democrats all three (Trump, Desantis, Haley) will easily beat Harris.

You have had your time and if either one of you are elected you will be a Lame Duck. It is going to take the next elected president at least eight years to correct the mess you both have created.

My informal poll of 30 people tells me that no one wants Biden and four want Trump. We don't care about your corruptions or your egos. We care about our families, the economy and safety. When I'm at the gym and when your picture appears on the TV screens everyone moans, and I say NEXT!

Do us all a favor and enjoy the rest of your lives with your families and let someone new take the reins. Please just fly off into the sunset to one of your "many" homes.

Congress/Senate - Start doing the job of serving the American people and your country - NOT your political party. Hopefully, many of you will be sent home too if you don't serve your constituents, regardless of Party.

Update 6/28/2024 - Debate

This is the best we have. I blame the Democratic and Republican establishment (SWAMPS).  It's all about Power and losing it by making our country weak.  Do us a favor and go golfing.

Why do we even have Rules?

             

If a society is to co-exist rules play a critical role in fostering balance among the persons living in that society. When rules exist, everyone is accountable for their own actions because rules ensure that we respect our responsibilities as well as those of others.

The United States government has “been” so successful because we adhere to rules of law.

Amnesty: This is no longer true. I feel terrible for those immigrants who spent years following the rules and regulations to become natural citizens. Today, we let everyone in our country with little or no vetting. Granting amnesty (President Joe Biden announced an executive order on 6/19/24 that could effectively provide amnesty to well over 500,000 illegal immigrants in the United States) without no regard to those who came legally is a slap in the face and wrong!

The security of all people is in jeopardy as we watch people (Especially politicians) break laws everyday with respect for the rules or laws.

Student Loans: By a vote of 6-3, the justices ruled that the Biden administration overstepped its authority last year when it announced that it would cancel up to $400 billion in student loans. The Biden administration had said that as many as 43 million Americans would have benefitted from the loan forgiveness program; almost half of those borrowers would have had all of their student loans forgiven.

Newcomers are from ALIEN NATION

Ahead of President Biden's visit to the U.S.-Mexico border on Thursday, the White House debuted a new term for illegal immigrants arriving in the country, calling them "newcomers."

I think on Air Force One as the president and white house traveled to the Texas border, they must have watched an old James Cann movie or TV show called Alien Nation from the 80s and 90s. 

What an original White House statement - sorry those crossing the border are ILLEGAL. Those coming to United States LEGALLY can be called newcomers and are welcomed!! Those who do not cross legally are breaking the law should be turned away.
