Next time you vote ask yourself if the people in office (Local, State and Federal) have changed or are they there for their own self-interest. The majority are there for their own self-interest, that is why the Democratic Socialist of America are taking hold in certain communities.
Politicians today no longer serve the common good, they only serve their political party and only want to keep what they think is power (Most people think you are fools). Hey, it's OK, keep doing what you are doing because you are being replaced too, but you just don't know it!
When I first heard (Deming Conferences in 1980's, Flint and Dearborn Michigan) this quote by Dr. Deming it reminded me of one of my other favorite quotes by Charles Darwin:
" It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent, but the one most adaptable to change."
