Hazardous Toxic Waste from Ohio to Michigan

 After the train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio, tons of contaminated dirt needed somewhere to go. That somewhere was US Ecology, a waste disposal company in specializing in hazardous waste. Much of the waste went to at least three Michigan Sites.

Very disgusting that Michigan officials are irritated or call this “stupid.” Everything is political. Michigan is run by milquetoasts who scream and rant (Tlaib) when someone is removed from a congressional committee but when it comes to toxic waste in her own state she says “We Don’t Deserve It.”

Where are the State of Michigan Republicans?

Someone is missing from this picture – Guess Who? Where is Governor Whitmer? She must be taking the Buttigieg and Biden leadership route like she did with Cuomo and Newsome during the Pandemic.

This week in Davos Switzerland, John Kerry spoke ambitiously about their plan to save the planet from climate change is being termed as 'hypocritical' and 'delusional'. "When you stop and think about it, it’s pretty extraordinary that we select group of human beings because of whatever touched us at some point in our lives, are able to sit in a room and come together and actually talk about saving the planet,” Kerry said.

Representatives from more than 100 countries will meet in the Swiss Alps next week for the annual World Economic Forum meeting. The five-decade-old event is held in the Alpine town of Davos and brings together business and government leaders to discuss some of the biggest issues facing the world. What a load of crap. I would like to know the average income of those attending this conference. I would like to know how many Private Planes flew into Davos for this forum.

My biggest question is does this forum discuss and produce which countries are the biggest polluters? 

2023 Political Leaders Take Note!

I created this Quote back in the early 1980s. One cannot be a Leader without both expressions working together not apart. Political Leaders especially must lead in this manner for the benefit of all. 

2022 was a major disappointment for National Political Leaders. My hope is there are some new leaders on the horizon that will serve their country and constituents and follow their conscience and not their political party. 

I did some traveling over the holidays and as I waited and snaked through the long lines of security, I had a thought that I would rather be inconvenienced than to have a dangerous situation occur on the plane. Then I thought about the southern border and how many "ILLEGAL" people are entering the country. How can we allow the borders to be so unsecured and the tons of Fentanyl entering our country and killing so many young people.

What about Paul (Marine)Whalen? Where is the support.

 

Michigan's (Novi) own Paul Whalen is still in a Russian Lefortovo Prison. It's been 4 years on a trumped-up charge of espionage. I'm glad that Britteny Griner was released.

The sports and Hollywood worlds have been vocal in the support of Griner. I'm wondering why the Marines are so silent. Certainly, there are Hollwood and Sport types that support Marines. Where are all the current and veteran Marines? Why are you not protesting or calling your political representatives? Certainly, there are more veteran Marines than Sports and Hollywood figures.

On local television in the Detroit area, I have only recently seen a local congressional representative talking about Paul Whalen. Where are Senators Stabenow and Peters? Oh, they have given lip service every now and then, but there should be on-going political and vocal support about the release of Mr. Whalen.
