Newcomers are from ALIEN NATION

Ahead of President Biden's visit to the U.S.-Mexico border on Thursday, the White House debuted a new term for illegal immigrants arriving in the country, calling them "newcomers."

I think on Air Force One as the president and white house traveled to the Texas border, they must have watched an old James Cann movie or TV show called Alien Nation from the 80s and 90s. 

What an original White House statement - sorry those crossing the border are ILLEGAL. Those coming to United States LEGALLY can be called newcomers and are welcomed!! Those who do not cross legally are breaking the law should be turned away. 

Michigan continues to have power outages at alarming rates.

March 2023 - The Detroit Free Press reports that Michigan's two largest electricity providers, DTE and Consumers Energy, are among the worst-performing utilities in the country at how long it takes them to get the lights back on after a power outage, a review of reliability data shows. Despite that, Michiganders pay more for electricity than their neighbors around the Great Lakes.

I just have some questions that I never hear asked by the media, residents or lawmakers:

D    DTE/Consumer Power - 
1)     How long have you been in business?
2)     How long have you been having storms/weather issues in your area of responsibility?
3)     How many chances/times have you had the opportunity to have an example/test data of the problems you face?
4)     How come you have not figured it out yet?

2024 Political Leaders Take Note

I created this Quote back in the early 1980s. One cannot be a Leader without both expressions (Be Humble, Be Confident) working together not apart. Political Leaders especially must lead in this manner for the benefit of all. 

2022 and 2023 were major disappointments for National Political Leaders. My hope is there are some new leaders on the horizon that will serve their country and constituents and follow their conscience and not their political party. 

I did some traveling over the holidays and as I waited and snaked through the long lines of security, I had a thought that I would rather be inconvenienced than to have a dangerous situation occur on the plane. 

Then I thought about the southern border and how many "ILLEGAL" people are entering the country. How can we allow the borders to be so unsecured and the tons of Fentanyl entering our country and killing so many young people.
